Bury Your Dead were involved in a van accident in Ottawa, Canada while on tour with The Ghost Inside. Luckily no one was seriously injured, however there are a few broken bones.
Guitarist Brendan “Slim” MacDonald received lacerations to his leg, while . Bassist Aaron Patrick broke his arm and vocalist Myke Terry broke his hand.

Fresh off a summer trek on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, the members of metallic hardcore thrashers Walls Of Jericho refuse to let the dust settle as they continue to take their brutally explosive live show to the masses. Currently headlining Europe’s “Hell on Earth” tour, the band are gearing up for more domination in the states with a fall US trek supporting Otep and Ill Nino. The tour is set to kick off in October and will commence as 2008 comes to a close.
The bands latest release, ‘The American Dream’, produced by Ben Schigel (Chimaira, Ringworm) was slated by Alternative Press Magazine as one of 2008’s “Most anticipated release” and Absolute Punk says “The American Dream…will have fans piling on, circle pitting, moshing, and banging their heads all in a matter of minutes”.
“We put all that we have into this record, and trust me; it is extremely heavy. We’re calling it a ‘thrash metal delicacy,” says Candace.
The band is also getting set to shoot a new video for “American Dream.” Look for it to hit the interwebs and video channels this fall.

Recently, I’ve receive a lot of recommendation via myspace to check out this band from Kajang, Selangor - STARTING FIGHT. Although they featured a current members of various metal/emo hardcore band’s like This Sunday, Kids sing kissing, Calculate Infinity, She’s Exotic, Failure of This Part & Dichi Michi (in fact the vocalist of Avalon’s Whisper used to be their vocalist, now turn to be their manager); but Starting Fight is nothing like the abovesaid bands I mention, in fact, this is more on Modern Old School Hardcore genre, you know the game, from melodic and lots of sing-a-long part to some breakdown; remind me of This Is Hell. In the meantime, you may check out their newly uploaded song, “Born To Fight” via myspace.
