BAD BRAINS return to DC, announce upcoming shows.

Punk icons Bad Brains’ history with Washington D.C. has been well documented. In 2008, the band returns to their hometown after many years away for a historic Election Night show at the 9:30 Club with four original members – HR, Darryl Jenifer, Dr. Know and Earl Hudson, the lineup appearing on their latest effort Build A Nation.

The first proper Bad Brains studio album in over a decade, Build A Nation, was released to critical acclaim on Megaforce/Oscilloscope Records.

The band has announced 3 additional shows in Chicago, NYC, and Austin. Dates are as follows:

September 2 – House Of Blues, Chicago IL (Presented by Converse: N.E.R.D.and Bad Brains)
November 4 – Washington DC
November 6 – Irving Plaza, NYC
Novermber 9 – Waterloo Park, Austin TX
